Check Out Our Newest Small Group Opportunity!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our church started Peace Groups as well as intentional spaces for dialogue surrounding the topic of race.

For the month of October, we are going through a Bible Study called “Come to the Table” and a small group/book group called “Journey to the Light in the Underground” that is discussing Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize winning book, “The Underground Railroad.”

Lent Small Group Coming Soon!

The God We Can Know, Study Series

In conjunction with our upcoming Lent sermon series (“Who Are You?: Exploring Who We Are in Light of Who Jesus Is”), in March and April we will be inviting people to read Rob Fuquay’s, “The God We Can Know: Exploring the ‘I AM’ sayings of Jesus.”

Both a Sunday morning and weekday evening small group will be offered, with times being announced at the end of February. Reading the book is not required to be part of the small group, but is very much encouraged. For regular print, the cost will be $7.50 and enlarged print will be $8.50. If paying by check, checks can be made out to Boonton UMC with “Lent Book” in the memo line.
