We see it within our nation and throughout the world. We even see it within our churches, especially when it comes to key issues and beliefs individuals and groups hold strong, yet differing, convictions regarding. It is during times like these that we are especially called to our commitment to others and our commitment to what’s most important. And above all, to be reminded of God’s commitment to us, and how we might model that same commitment to all God’s beloved children, whom we may discover are more similar to us than we ever imagined.
