Rev. Eun Ok Cha
Rev. Eun Ok Cha is a devoted and passionate servant of God, called to share the Gospel with love, grace, and compassion. She earned her Bachelor’s and M.A. degrees from Hyupsung University Theological School in South Korea and completed her M.Div. and S.T.M. at Drew Theological School in 2010. With 25 years of experience in ministry across South Korea and the United States, she has faithfully served in various pastoral roles, bringing spiritual leadership, care, and transformative ministry to the communities she serves.
Rev. Cha has a deep commitment to making disciples of Jesus Christ and nurturing faith communities where all people experience God’s love. She has been particularly passionate about ministries with children and youth, outreach to the poor and sick, and supporting those recovering from illnesses and the effects of poverty. Her ministry is marked by inclusivity, energy, and a strong spiritual presence, as she seeks to embody Christ’s love in every aspect of her work.
As she prepares for her new journey serving Boonton UMC and Montville UMC, Rev. Cha is committed to faithfully following God’s call, equipping and uplifting the congregation, and working together to transform the world in the likeness of Jesus Christ. She brings many gifts and talents to her ministry - preaching and teaching, pastoral care, leadership, and outreach - all driven by her unwavering faith and her heart for God’s people.
Rev. Cha looks forward to building strong relationships with her new church family and serving with grace, passion, and dedication.
